This is an original oil painting, signed by Laurel.

It is framed in a hand crafted wood frame which is painted black, sanded to show red undertones and given a gentle patina. It has a 22k burnished gold leaf lip.  The outside dimensions of the frame are 19 1/2" height x 18 1/2" width x 1 1/2" depth.

My neighbor, Pat, lets these old roses grow over her fence, and she says that when these roses bloom it is going to rain. So far she has not been wrong. I cut these one afternoon and painted them in my backyard while my grandson ran through the sprinklers... a happy day.
